  1. How long have you worked for Sytner BMW/MINI? 3 Years, 5 Months
  2. How long have you been in your current role? 7 Months
  3. What is your favourite part about your current role? The creativity aspects, from originating an idea to designing artwork, and seeing positive results from projects I have worked on.
  4. What motivates you in the morning? Making the most of the day, whether I am at work or not.
  5. Three words to describe yourself. Determined. Loyal. Positive.
  6. What is your greatest achievement? One of my greatest achievements would have to be my progression within my career so far. After starting as a receptionist 5 years ago, to now being involved with the biggest division within Sytner (and doing something I love) is a great accomplishment.
  7. What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be in your role? Communicate, work hard and always be open to ideas and change. The automotive industry is a fast-paced environment, so being flexible with tasks and projects is important, especially within the marketing department.
  8. How have you seen the automotive industry landscape change and evolve to engage more women? I started working within the Automotive industry when I was 18 years old, but always felt equal to males working within the same environment. Over the past 5 years, I have known and worked with women who have been Sales Managers, Heads of Businesses or taken on the more ‘male perceived’ roles including Service and Bodyshop Managers. Within Sytner, there is no discrimination to gender and I feel that the old idea of the automotive industry being male dominated is completely wrong.
  9. Top tip for how you organise your days? At the beginning of each week, I always write a to-do list of everything I need to accomplish with high-priority tasks at the top.
  10. Top tip for working in the automotive industry? Be adaptable, outgoing and passionate.
